Always place your GenTent canopy directly above the generator’s exhaust—not beside or below it. This ensures safe venting of heat and fumes, protects your equipment, and maintains safe operation. Use brackets or Extender Arms as needed for proper positioning, especially on generators with high exhausts. Never place the refueling door or electrical apron on the exhaust side.
