Refueling your generator outdoors during bad weather can be a hassle — but with GenTent, you can stay protected while keeping your generator running safely. Here’s how to use the built-in refueling door:

• Find the GenTent logo on the canopy — the refueling flap sits directly beneath it.
• To open, grasp the flap and gently lift to reveal the generator’s fuel cap area.
• Before refueling, always turn off the generator and allow it to cool completely to avoid fire risk.
• With the flap open, you can safely refuel without removing the canopy, keeping the generator protected from rain and snow.
• Once fueling is complete, wrap the flap around the canopy edge and firmly press it back into place using the built-in Velcro® strips.
• Double-check that all sides are fully sealed to ensure continued weather protection.
